Colab Garage R8 / Huracan Lifeline Zero 360 Fire Suppression System
When designing our fire suppression solution for the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan we wanted to use a industry leading fire system that was ready to install with all the proper brackets and wiring for a straight forward install. The Lifeline Zero 360 FIA 3.0 kg Novec 1230 Stored Pressure Electric System, has a 3.0 Liter capacity of Zero 360 Novec 1230 agent and offers protection of 5 zones.
Professional Install is recommended for this system and can be done in an estimated 8hrs.

Fire Safety is extremely important in a high performance vehicle that has been heavily modified well beyond the manufacture’s intended use. We recommend fire suppression systems in all of our builds that come out of Colab Garage, but this could not be any more important on the v10 platform that the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan are built on. These vehicles are prone to fire for several reasons, even in stock form. Engine or Transmission failure can be the catalyst for a really bad day if those hot fluids ignite on the scorching hot exhaust components. Twin turbo systems add several points for an oil fire to start due to lack of proper crank case ventilation, or oil feed or drain lines from the turbos themselves. In addition to that, fuel system upgrades to support a twin turbo application add several sources for a fire to potentially start with surge tanks, aftermarket fuel rails, sensors, lines, etc. With the engine in the rear it gets quite a bit hotter than in a front engine layout which gives an easy recipe for disaster to strike.
We chose the Lifeline Zero 360 system for several reasons in designing our solution for this platform. Number 1 being its 5 zones and over a minute of run time to give you the best chance of saving your self and your vehicle. The size of the bottle allows for us to place it in several different locations in a already limited space in a mid-engine vehicle. Lastly the electronic activation gives flexibility in where you can place the activation buttons not only on the interior of the vehicle, but external as well if your application requires it.
Our solution comes with the additional brackets needed to mount the nozzles on to the chassis without the need to create them yourself. In addition to that, we provide a pre-wired solution for the electronic components so it is plug and play for the end user . Lastly we provide the required additional tubing needed to properly install this system into the v10 platform.
